Tehran will host INVEX 2027, a major banking, stock exchange, insurance, and investment exhibition, from February 4–7, 2027. Content secretary Hossein Abdeh Tabrizi said the event will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Tehran Stock Exchange.
Despite Iran’s capital market being valued at $100–120 billion—smaller than the broader economy—Abdeh Tabrizi noted that diverse investment instruments now suit varied risk appetites. The exhibition will feature 50 specialized sessions on capital markets, insurance, privatization, and private-sector involvement, alongside talks on artificial intelligence and the economic future. AI’s impact on trading and brokerages will be a central theme. The four-day gathering aims to connect policymakers, investors, and industry leaders in Tehran.
Economist Saeed Eslami Bidgoli described Iran’s market as among the region’s six largest and the world’s 20 largest, though highly dependent on the money market. He stressed technology’s growing role in finance.
Farshid Shokr-e Khodaei of Iran Chamber of Commerce highlighted energy imbalance, urging private investment in efficiency through instruments like energy-savings certificates. He called for a smaller government and greater private-sector wealth creation.
Organizers also unveiled INVEX 2027 designs and the capital market’s 60th-anniversary logo, featuring Iranian motifs and Persian script.
