International Exhibitions of Textile, Apparel Running in Tehran

Iran’s textile and apparel value chain is on display in Tehran, with the 32nd IRANTEX and 14th IRANMODE running simultaneously through October 21 at the permanent international exhibitions venue. The twin shows have drawn 108 domestic and foreign companies across five halls, covering machinery, yarn, fibers, fabrics, home textiles, bedding and men’s, women’s and children’s apparel.

Organizers say the format connects raw-material supply and fabric production with design, sewing and final delivery, aiming to improve productivity, quality and the competitiveness of Iranian products.

The international section of IRANTEX includes companies and representatives from China, Turkey, South Korea, the Netherlands and Germany—a sign of foreign interest in Iran’s textile market, according to Seyed Shojaeddin Emami-Raouf, secretary of the Iranian Textile Industries Association.

He said the exhibitions aim to develop trade interactions and strengthen export markets, while specialized meetings, workshops and business meetings offer space to exchange experience and address industry challenges. Beyond showcasing domestic design and production capacity, the events target export development, new market identification, knowledge and technology transfer, investment attraction and expanded cooperation with foreign firms.

The sector remains a key employer with value-creation and export potential, organizers note, urging industry players to use the platform for contracts and cooperation.
